Product Guide

How to use every RiderSOS product properly.

This guide covers activation, setup, and day-to-day use across the full RiderSOS range: emergency tags, cards, Bike ID products, bundles, and Pro-linked tools. The aim is simple: make sure each product is attached to the right account, points to the right profile, and is actually useful when it is needed.

Emergency Tags

Helmet tags, key tags, and everyday emergency ID setup

Use the same RiderSOS account for every rider product so your emergency profile, scan access, and future tags all stay linked together.

Setup steps
1

Create or sign in to your RiderSOS account.

2

Enter the printed RDR activation code from the product packaging or tag.

3

Complete your rider emergency profile with medical info, emergency contacts, and any insurance or breakdown details you want available.

4

Attach the product where it will actually be used: helmet, keys, jacket, or wallet.

Good practice
i

Helmet tags should sit somewhere easy to notice after an incident.

i

Key tags work best when they stay on the bike or ignition keyset full time.

i

Emergency cards are best kept in a wallet, jacket pocket, or daily carry pouch.

Bike ID

Bike recovery products and scan pages

Bike ID is separate from the rider medical profile. It is built for ownership, recovery, found-bike contact, and stolen-bike reporting.

Setup steps
1

Activate the Bike ID tag on your RiderSOS account.

2

Create a Bike ID profile with make, model, registration, VIN masking, recovery contact, and optional tracker details.

3

Attach the Bike ID tag to the motorcycle.

4

If the bike is scanned, the public page shows secure recovery actions without exposing private owner information.

Good practice
i

Use the stolen or missing status controls as soon as the bike’s situation changes.

i

Add a recovery phone number if you want texts for finder contact and location reports.

i

Keep distinguishing features up to date so a sighting is easier to verify.

Bundles

Multi-product kits and family packs

Bundles are designed to give you multiple access points at once, so responders, finders, or family do not depend on a single tag being seen first.

Note: If you purchase an individual RiderSOS kit, you only need to activate one item. Every product inside that box uses the same RDR number.

Setup steps
1

Activate each included code on the same RiderSOS account.

2

Decide which items belong on the helmet, keys, wallet, bike, or family member’s carry kit.

3

Check that every included product points back to the right rider or bike profile after activation.

4

Run a quick scan test before using the kit day to day.

Good practice
i

Use bundles to cover both rider identity and motorcycle recovery, not just one or the other.

i

If you buy more RiderSOS products later, activate them on the same account instead of opening a new one.

Pro and Ride

Membership, tracking, alerts, and live ride tools

RiderSOS Pro adds scan alerts, live location features, and ride tools around the emergency ID products you already own.

Setup steps
1

Activate your main tag first and finish your base profile.

2

Upgrade to Pro if you want scan alerts, live tracking, or group ride features.

3

Check your contact list and alert settings so notifications reach the right people.

4

Test location sharing and any ride tools before relying on them on a live journey.

Good practice
i

Pro works best when emergency contacts are current and phone numbers are checked.

i

If you use live tracking, make sure the people you share with know what they’re looking at and when to act.
